<description>Imagination Experience from Jorge Feres on Vimeo.
This was really a challenge. I had to create a short film. So I decided to create this parallel world using Live Action, 3D integration and 2D Illustration.

I concepted the story, directed, produced, animated and integrated the the graphics with live action.

Thanks to friends that collaborated on this project:

Photography Direction: Rogelio Escamilla
Make up artist: Christa Monroe
Character Illustration: Marisa Torres
Main Actor: Tim Austin
Cards Actor: Kight Neale

This is one of five intros created by Jorge Feres and Kasey Lum for a Community Media Art Centre in the heart of downtown East Hastings in Vancouver, Canada.

Our approach in this intro was the classical animation technique, but also introduce a mix media film background. The piece derived from the idea of ink painting the world.

This is one of five intros created by Jorge Feres and Kasey Lum for a Community Media Art Centre in the heart of downtown East Hastings in Vancouver, Canada.

Our approach in this intro was to show an exaggerated creative process where people in a factory must crank out colors, fun and noise to stir up creativity.

Role: Concept, Direction, Color grading
Client: W2 Media Arts Centre
Project Advisors: Todd Smith and Bun Lee
Music and Sound Design: Cameron King
